New Youth Ministers!

We're thrilled to welcome Autumn Knox and Adam Weigel as our new youth ministers. They joined us on July 9th!

Autumn was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from Madison Academy in 2014 and then went on to continue her education at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2014. After graduating, Autumn married her high school sweetheart, Billy, that following August. That same year Autumn completed her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Though Autumn and Billy both attended the University of Alabama at some point, they actually are BIG Tennessee fans! In their free time, you will likely find Autumn and Billy playing with their dog Remi, watching a good ole Disney movie, or hanging out with friends and family.   Autumn’s wonderful experience in her own youth group growing up has given her a strong desire to help other teenager’s have that same experience while also leading them to a relationship with Christ. Autumn and Billy are thrilled to be a part of the Twickenham family!

Adam comes to us from Auburn, Alabama. Growing up in a military family, Adam moved around a lot, but Auburn is considered home as he spent his last ten years there. Adam went to school at Auburn University, earning a B.S. in Secondary Education: General Science/Biology. While in college, he was actively involved with the Auburn Christian Student Center leading international student Bible studies, interning at a non-profit tutoring facility, and having his worldview challenged by the diverse individuals there.  Upon graduation, Adam married his wife Sarah and moved to Huntsville. Adam taught full-time at Ardmore High School for four months before transitioning into the youth ministry position. In his free time, you will find him watching baseball, reading a book (while drinking a good cup of coffee), playing sports or being with friends and family.. Adam’s favorite movies include It’s a Wonderful Life and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Adam and Sarah are extremely excited to be a part of what God is doing at Twickenham!

Our youth ministry is for anyone. While it is intimidating to walk into a group of teenagers when you are new, our teens are all coming together, from a variety of places, to be one group that loves Jesus. We may be weird, but it’s because we are all so different and we have come to accept each other for who we are. Don’t let your first visit be your last. Jump in and get to know us and we’ll do our best to help you get to know Jesus.

The Twickenham Youth Ministry is led by youth workers who are investing their time and energy in the lives of the teens.

For more information about how the Twickenham Youth Ministry seeks to accomplish the mission above, feel free to contact the church office.

TYM Theme Verse

Ephesians 4:1-6

1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to LIVE a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the UNITY of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is ONE BODY and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
