A Day at the Lake
A professional fisherman has his best day ever on the lake. A world record haul. Then walks away and never again fishes for a living. What would make someone do a thing like that?
An Awkward Beginning
The cross was an embarrassing way to begin a kingdom. Whatever it means to be a Christian, it has more to do with sacrifice than gain, more to do with submission than autonomy, more to do with being culturally strange than cool.
This Awkward Family
The church isn’t a building. It’s the people in it. And if we’re being honest, some of them are . . . weird. But according to Jesus, they are your surrogate siblings. Welcome to your awkward family.
Awkward Love
Social media, among other things, has conditioned us to jettison uncomfortable relationships. You post something I don’t like, I unfriend you. Jesus calls us to something better. Harder, but better. Share everything. Put up with each other’s eccentricities. And if there is disagreement, talk it out, forgive and stay together.
Awkward Conversation
We’ll do anything to avoid an awkward conversation. That’s part of the whole “safe-space” thing on university campuses these days. If we’re going to tell people the good news about Jesus, sooner or later we’re going to have bring up the “S” word: Sin. Then we can talk about the other “S” word: Salvation.
Awkward, Accepted, Amazing
This is your past. This is your present. This is your future.

Why Our Members Chose Twickenham

Our first Sunday back – relief, gratitude and being able to be part of such an uplifting assembly and worship again. We feel like this church is our family.

Uplifting! I loved the energy of the service – the singing – just a great “vibe”.

We appreciate the ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship) classes we have been in. I love The Spring!
