The Women's Ministry at Twickenham is titled "L.I.F.T." -- Living In Faith Together. Our hope is to create a space to deepen relationships and be engaged in each other's lives, while encouraging each other in our walk with the Lord. Our ages range from 20's to 90's and we LOVE it that way. Multi-generational involvement is what makes us thrive.
Some ways to be involved include:
Bible studies: There are multiple Women’s Bible studies that take place throughout the year. Studies vary in topic and are attended by all ages. In the past, studies have included textual and topical series from varying books of the Bible as well as studies from authors such as Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer.
LIFT Higher: One day conference including worship, speaker(s), and a meal.
Twickenham Tea: Our annual Tea is a great opportunity to get involved. You can set and decorate a table relevant to the theme of the year or just come and be a guest!
Sewing Group: It's called "Sew Happy in Christ". Click here for details.
Fellowship events: Movie, game, and/or craft nights scattered throughout the year. We also have a Christmas party with a catered meal, devotional, and fellowship in early December.
We host a Women's Retreat and also do local/nearby Women's events. In the past, we have attended a Jen Hatmaker conference, ReCreate, and we are a Co-host church this fall for Fresh Grounded Faith here in Huntsville!
