And just like that our study of Daniel and his friends has become incredibly practical. Like them, we're asking how to we honor and obey Yahweh when our religious places and routines are dramatically disrupted. When our home life, family life, and work life seem to turn upside down. The Jewish exile provides the backdrop for so much of our Bible and colors the perspective of the Biblical authors. Understanding the exile deepens are faith in God's plan and purposes and helps us maintain steadfast faithfulness
Stuart Whiting and Dan Beasley will offer an online interactive continuation of that class beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 6:30 PM. Your phone will work but a computer or iPad will allow better viewing of others attending. You don't have to have a camera but we'd love to see you smiling face and hopefully interact with you. Let us know if any questions. Dan's cell is 256-682-2302
Twickenham FAQ Update
Things have certainly changed at a quick pace this weekend! We want to provide you some updates regularly, but not overwhelm your email. Check http://www.twickenham.org often for the latest information. Here are a few questions people are asking . . .
Q: Are we going to meet Wednesday and Sunday for services? – We will not have services this Wednesday (3/18) or Sunday (3/22). We will evaluate each week. For as many Sundays as needed, we will Live stream services on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Many took advantage of this last Sunday. Some had problems with the livestream while others did not. It was recommended by one of our members that if you have issues, look to drop the resolution on the video stream and it might help.
In addition to the measures being taken to reduce exposure to passing germs please note the following:
Communion will be taken from stations around the auditorium this Sunday. There will be 8 stations set up around the sides and front of the auditorium. The bread and cup will be taken at the same time.
There will also be boxes set up at the entrances to facilitate receiving of our offerings. You can also give on-line at www.twickenham.org or through our church app with PushPay. To download the Twickenham official app, simply text "TWICKCC APP" to 77977.
Thanks for embracing these changes.
