Weather Closures

Twickenham Kids Preschool follows the Huntsville City Schools closure policy. 
Closure
  • If the city schools are closed, Twickenham Kids is closed. 
Late Openings
  • If the city schools are one hour late, Twickenham Kids is one hour late. 
  • If the city schools are two hours late, Twickenham Kids is closed.
 Early Closings
  • If the city schools close one hour early, Twickenham Kids will close on time (1:00).
  • If the city schools close two hours early, Twickenham Kids will close one hour early (12:00).
If there is a Tornado Warning in Madison County the children will go to the Church Staff Offices which are located underground.  The school doors (rear west doors) are locked at the back of the school, so there may not be a staff member available to open those doors during a Warning.  To gain entrance to the building during a Warning you will need to go to the south side Office entrance. 
 
Tornado and Fire drills are practiced with the children early in the school year.
